Today we had our first short story presentation for "The Day They Set Out". Thanks group 1 for a wonderful and engaging presentation!

With this, we moved forward into a very brief exploration of the possible role of music in this short story. With that in mind, we began work on a DEJ for "The Day They Set Out" due on Thursday.

Homework

1. If you haven't finished your essay yet, you need to come in early in the morning and during lunch to finish it.
2. The creative/narrative response to Omelas is due tomorrow (Thursday).
3. The DEJ for "The Day They Set Out" is due on Friday.
