Writing for Wednesday!

Is Being Busy the Same as Being Successful?

Many people believe that being busy—always working, studying, or filling their schedule—means they are successful. Others think that real success is about balance, happiness, and using time wisely, not just being busy.

Write a paragraph explaining whether you think being busy truly means being successful. Use reasons and examples to support your opinion!

Dogman Movie

Hey all! What a nice film. Here's some work for us to do about the film. Many scenes in the movie show how characters treat each other, and how kindness (or cruelty) affects them. The movie was pretty silly, but it had some important messages. One of them is:

“Kindness and compassion can change people’s lives.”

Think about this message from the movie and answer these questions:
  1. How does the movie show this lesson?
  2. Describe a time your kindness or someone else's kindness helped to get through a difficult time.

ELL3 Writing!

Today, many people show off expensive items—such as designer clothes, luxury cars, or the newest phones—to make others think they are rich or successful. Some people believe that showing expensive products is a true sign of wealth. Others argue that real wealth comes from saving money, education, or personal achievements, not from buying luxury items.

Write a paragraph or essay explaining whether you think showing off expensive products truly proves someone is rich. Use examples and reasons to support your opinion.
