Happy Thursday!

Thanks for your good work from yesterday. Many of you caught up on missing work, and I've collected most of your creative writing pieces. At this time I am missing 4 from the morning class. Everyone from the afternoon class has handed in the creative writing.

Here's our plan for today:

1. Introduction to Figurative Language
2. Have you ever had a dream that felt real? Did you wake up and check to see if it really happened? (Discussion)
3. Then we'll take a look at a new short story: The Most Dangerous Game (Richard Connel)
4. As you read, use Ten Ways To Develop Suspense to find some examples of suspense. There are many. Please find at least 6 as you read the story.
