Today we discussed the nature of viral content on the internet. We began work on our song project. Here are the big questions to think about as you prepare your presentation:
Questions:
- Why did this song become a hit?
- What audience is this song intended for?
- How do you know?
- What kind of behaviour does this song suggest?
- Identity some parts of the song that suggest more than a literal meaning.
Your presentation should be:
1. 1 - 2 minutes long.
2. Play the song, or a portion of it for the class. Keep it polite!
3. Answer the above questions during the presentation.
4. Hand in your extended response after you complete the presentation.
