English 12
Greetings all! We'll be finishing our presentations today, and begin work on our synthesis writing.

Control of the truth, and control of facts is how Big Brother and the Party are able to remain in power. Winston alters facts so as to be favourable for the Party. O'Brien argues that reality itself is shaped by how we perceive it. By controlling information, how we understand reality is also controlled. Read the articles supplied in class today and decide on a topic. The articles and your work must remain in class; no phones or assistive technology is permitted.
