Essay Topics!

 Greetings all, here are our essay topics!

1. How does Squealer manipulate language to deceive the other animals and maintain the pigs’ dominance? Analyze Orwell’s use of propaganda and euphemism using direct citations for support.
2. How does Boxer’s blind loyalty, work ethic, and tragic fate reflect the exploitation of the working class under oppressive governments? Use specific quotations and citations from Animal Farm to support your answer.

Harrison Bergeron: Response

 Today we've done a little comparison between the film and the short story, and wrote about the similarities and differences between the two. Now that it's done - it's time for a quote and response:

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions." - English proverb

Read the above sentence and think about how it applies to Harrison Bergeron, and maybe - some real life examples, too!
